Workout Wednesday

It's time to check with how you have been doing with your exercise goals. Have you followed your exercise plan this week? What do you have planned for the rest of the week?

And just for fun - What is your favorite thing to do for cardio?

  1. Monday I did great, but I only go in 20 minutes of exercise yesterday. I plan on doing much better for the rest of the week. I plan to take a couple more jog/walks (mostly walking) and to do a few exercise videos that I have.

My favorite cardio workout is to do a Kundalini Yoga video that I have. It is an aerobic form of yoga. Some of the moves are kind of funny looking and I am sure it is hilarious to watch me do it, but it is fun and I really like it.

My other favorite thing to do for cardio is the elliptical machine at the gym. I haven't got to do it lately though because Layton refuses to stay in the kids play area :(

  2. Today was my first day on my plan (walk/run in the neighborhood), but it hasn't gone well. I got into my workout clothes and then remembered I had to go to the drycleaners early so Jon's suit could be done before the end of the day, and then the baby had to nap... life interrupting my best-laid plans! I will try again tonight after it cools down.

My favorite cardio is the elliptical machine. I always seem to be able to go longer on it than the treadmill or just running.

  3. So far this week has been a bust! Everytime I set aside time to work out (during Chandani's naps) I either end up cleaning or by the time I get ready to exercise she wakes up upset and I spend the rest of the time comforting :( Chandani's experiencing a little separation anxiety, unfortunately! My plan is to wrap this up and get on the bike since I just put her down :) Wish me luck!!!

Favorite cardio would have to be dancing!!! I love line dancing especially...I work better with music :)

  4. Not a successful week for me, either. I have been doing so well for the past few months. I know that I am eating at a problem rather than facing it. I know as soon as I turn the problem over to God rather than trying to solve it myself (when I don't have the power to do it), that it will be resolved. I know a prayer and a glass of water does wonders for my hunger.

  5. Due to schoolwork procrastination, I have been unsuccessful in exercising as of yet. However, I plan to get in at least two good workouts before this week is over.

  6. Most of my work outs is house work,(it takes 3 hrs to vacumn and mop just the down stairs area which is done once a week) and on Fridays I've been trying to do something fun with the kids last Friday we went to the zoo and seen the new baby giraff. (lots of walking) He was cute but it was horribly hot.
