Friday Weigh-In

So how have you done this week? Did you make really good healthy food choices (we're going to exclude Ice Cream Cake in that question for this week, right Aunt B)? Did you maintain or loss pounds or inches this week?

  1. I am super happy to see the scale go down 1.4 lbs this week. I know its not a lot, but it's a start! And honestly its a miracle because last night I ate a piece of cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. I'm blamin' that one on Kylia. She made me send Nathan all the way over there to get me a piece. I mean, it was National Cheesecake Day. I had to do it.

But the rest of the week, I did really good at not eating processed foods and eating only whole foods. Until the cheesecake incident, I had eaten almost no sugar the whole week. So I'm happy about that too!

  2. I gained 3 pounds! I have not done well at all this week because I am eating emotionally, not because I am hungry. I am working on making a life-changing decision. I am "out of sorts", called my doctor and got an appointment this afternoon for a headache and bloating.

I am thrilled about Kat's weight loss. To me, the ABSENCE of gaining is a reward in itself. Come on, gang....inspire me!!!!!!!

  3. Definitely not done well this week :( The stress of dealing with my little one really got to me and I gave in to stress eating and didn't make working out a priority like I should have. To be honest...I haven't weighed in because I know it will be discouraging and I want to start tomorrow off on a positive note with a promise to myself to do it to the best of my ability next week...wish me luck!!!

Becky, we all have TERRIBLE weeks, but we're in it together no matter what. I'm with ya on not feeling great about this week, but that should just make us that more motivated to make it better next week...WE CAN DO IT!!!

  4. Carrie and Aunt Beck, sorry you guys had such a rough week. Life can be hard sometimes and stress really does make you want to eat more. Hopefully this next week will be much better for you!

  5. Hello, I'd like to do this! I'm a friend of Stacy's. I'm not sure what I should do, so I guess I'll just start with my goals at this point.
I just had a baby 4 months ago and the weight is just not coming off quite the same way it did with the first! I work out frequently and eat a lot of healthy foods...my biggest problem is that I also eat a TON of junk food. I mean, I've never met anyone who could eat more than me in a sitting!

    My goals are:
    1) Eat 1 treat a day, no more
    2) Work out 4 times a week for 30 minutes
    3) Maintain eating lots of fruits and veggies each day
    4) Get down to my pre-pregnancy weight!

  7. Well I'm not sure how much I gained this week but I do know that in 4 weeks I gained 3 lbs. I guess thats not to bad. I assume my weight will continue to increase until I jave the baby. I'm just trying not to go over about 20 lbs with this baby and so far its only been 13 lbs. with 3 months to go! My cravings are really starting to kick in and they are not normally healthy choices. At the beginning of my pregnancy I was craving pickeled okra. I bought a jar from the store and in 2 days I had eaten the whole jar, but that wasn't the worst....I also drank all that was left in the jar..I'm really bad about giving in to cravings.

  8. Well, I lost 1 lb. And it was quite the good surprise. According to my Dr, I shouldn't be gaining ANY weight. So I have to get my butt in gear and exercise more. Watch out Zumba class, I'm coming back next week!!

  9. Ilene, pregnancy cravings are the worst! They are so hard not to give into! I really feel ya there.

And yay Casey! That is terrific. I haven't tried a Zumba class yet, but I've heard that they are so much fun. One of these days, I definitely want to give it a try!
